PR Executive 2nd Most Stressful Job in America in 2011

According to Career Cast, Being a Public Relations Executive is the second most stressful job in America. Number one, of course, being a commercial airline pilot.
“
Public Relations Officers are responsible for creating and maintaining a positive image with the public for many companies and government agencies. They typically are responsible for giving presentations and making speeches, often in front of large crowds. This highly-competitive field and tight deadlines keep stress at high-levels for specialists. Some PR officers, also, are required to interact with potentially hostile members of the media.”
**My side comments* Number one, I would sure like to be making $90,000 right now. And number two, who says we only work 9 hours a day. Don’t they know as publicists, we are always working, scanning news, brainstorming, and making sure clients are happy!
